Our Wedding Ceremony & Reception 8/24/2024
The Vancouver String Quartet helped make our Wedding Ceremony & Reception a most magically elegant and memorable event! We hired the Quartet for the entire event and they were beyond "Fantastic!", exceeding our expectations. Some words our guests used to describe our event and the Quartet were "Classically Elegant, Magical, Most Memorable, Classic & Stunning, Awesome, "An Experience everyone will remember", "A most elegant affair that everyone will cherish and remember always" ...
Some guests even asked if the Quartet had CD's of their music they could purchase as they didn't want want it to end! Alistar Leon Kok was most gracious and accommodating with any and all requests we had leading up to and during our event. What a pleasure to work with him. My husband and I were sold on the idea the moment we heard a few of their music clips online and then speaking with Alistar. We would highly recommend the Vancouver Quartet for anyone seeking a musical experience they will cherish as well never forget. We are already in the process of booking with them again for an annual holiday party (Piano & Violin Duet) we will entertain at our home this year.
We cannot thank them enough for creating the most Magically Elegant Event for our wedding, reception and guests. The event will live in our hearts forever and the music will play in our minds for eternity. We cannot Thank you enough Vancouver Quartet, we are so very thrilled to work with you again in a few months!

Exceptional talent!
VSQ added beauty and entertainment to our special day. They are exceptional at their craft and are incredibly captivating. We were honored to have them play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Their music catalog is huge like their talent! We highly recommend them. Family and friends truly enjoyed it and said “it gave Bridgerton vibes and we loved it”!

My wedding reception turned out beautiful just by having your performance alone. My wedding guests we’re very impressed and grateful for hearing wonderful love music, which is hard to find these days. I really appreciate the professionalism and grace that each trio member showed, It truly was a wonderful experience breathtaking many of the guest wanted to know how they could sign up for the quartet to play for them at their next event which made my heart very happy. Thank you again for a wonderful performance and experience I won’t forget for a lifetime. I know that you all play as a trio and a team but I wanted to personally thank Alistair Kok for helping to make my day special ❤️

Exceeded expectations. The Vancouver string Quartet blew me away with their talent. They are extremely professional and provide top of the line quality quartet music. I am a bride that got married June 2021 and originally suppose to had been married 6/2020.
When I was walking down the isle, listening to the music, it was everything I have ever hoped for in ceremony music. It was more than I could have ever imagined it to be. Setting the mood to exactly what we wanted. We even requested the group to learn two new songs for us and they were perfect.

Vancouver String Quartet was Superb!
We hired the Vancouver String Quartet for our daughter's wedding ceremony. The four musicians arrived early for their warm up. They performed a lovely prelude before the ceremony, the entrance of the wedding party as well as the recessional (exit). They even stayed after for a few more songs as guests were exiting the venue. Alistair was flexible and easy to work with. The quartet was professional and the music was superb! Several of our guests mentioned that the addition of the strings created an absolutely perfect ceremony!
